Digital images (scans or photographs of visual material or text) are generally free for personal use. For publication or exhibition, see the following table. Contact us about quantity discounts or other arrangements, particularly for academic use.

Publication prices are for basic electronic publication or print runs of up to 5,000 copies. Higher fees may apply to larger runs. The National Building Arts Center (“NBAC”) reserves the right to charge additional fees for specialized usage.

It is not always technologically or legally possible or feasible to digitize or reproduce certain materials. NBAC reserves the right not to digitize, reproduce, or share content if, in its judgement, it would be impracticable to do so.

For most of its materials, NBAC does not have the authority to issue copyright licensing permissions, and the user is responsible for obtaining permission from applicable copyright holders.
